Hair Accessories for Brides- Charleston, SC

Hair accessories are a great way to accentuate your wedding outfit. Whether you choose flowers, a headband, or a clip, your wedding hair look will be elegant, stylish, and unlike any other bride’s. Each piece has its own personality and you can choose one that will match both your wedding theme and your personal style.

Flowers

If you’re having a summer wedding, the perfect bridal hair accessory would have to be a flower. Whether you pin one to an elegant up-do or make a crown out of them that will sit on the top of your head, flowers are a great way to bring some natural beauty into your style. Accessorizing with flowers is also a great way to complement your wedding color scheme— or have your wedding color scheme complement you.

Headband

It doesn’t matter if you have your hair up or down, a headband is an excellent option for a hair accessory. There are so many bridal headbands to choose from. You could go for a gold headband with floral and leaf embellishments, a wider, crystal embedded headband, or even a vintage-looking headband with dangling gold chains and crystal accents. Some headbands even look like crowns, and there’s nothing wrong with feeling like royalty on your special day!

Clip

If you’re going for a hair accessory that’s subtler, a clip might be best for you. Clips can go underneath a high bun, on top of a low up-do, or even on the side of your head if you’re wearing your hair down. Versatile and always classy, the right clip can make your whole outfit come together. Splurge on a delicate gold and crystal clip to sit atop your bun, a feather-like clip to go behind your ear and hold your hair back, or a brass clip with layers of delicate leaves to sit directly underneath your high bun at the back of your head.

What to Look for in an On-Site Bridal Stylist- Charleston, SC

If you don’t already have a hairstylist that you know and who knows your hair, there are a few other options you can consider. One of these is to hire an on-site bridal stylist. Every stylist in your area will be different, so it’s important to find one that’s right for you and knows how to help you achieve the look you want.

Here are a few things to look for in an on-site bridal stylist:

  1. Flexibility. It’s your wedding day, of course you’re going to want to try out different hair styles! Make sure to find an on-site bridal stylist that is okay with spending a little extra time playing with your hair and finding the style you like the best.
  2. Skill level. While it might be fun for you and some friends to try an amateur hair stylist for a night out to support their growing business, chances are they won’t have as much experience or skill with hair styling. For one of the biggest days in your life, splurge on an on-site bridal stylist that has a high skill level and knows how to create a look perfect for you.
  3. What they offer. Different on-site bridal stylists have a variety of packages and offerings available. Make sure you choose one that offers exactly what you want. For example, you might want your whole bridal party to have their hair done by an on-site bridal stylist. In this case, you would want to look for stylists that offer bridal party packages
  4. Compatibility. This one isn’t as important as the other three, but it’s always nice to be able to talk and have fun with the person who will be standing behind your chair for a good chunk of time on your wedding day! Friendly hairstylists will also be more likely to be understanding and flexible to your needs, should they change.

Bridal Hair Trends This Season- Charleston, SC

Knowing what hairstyle to choose for your wedding can be a daunting task. You’ll want something that fits your style, but isn’t too hard to maintain throughout the day. It has to go with your dress and wedding scheme, but also be cute, elegant, and timeless all in one. For the brides who have yet to figure out what they want to do with their hair for their wedding day, here are the current bridal hair trends for this season.

Hairpieces

As we see more brides depart from tradition, one of the first things to go is the veil. This classic piece is often replaced with hairpieces, such as small tiaras, brocade, or even jewelry. This is a great opportunity to incorporate something significant to you.

Look for a meaningful headpiece, like a family heirloom. An accessory like this often feels classic while still offering a way to update standard wedding traditions.

Ponytails

Many brides opt for a ponytail — either low or slicked back — to help them keep their hair out of their way during what can be a long, tiring day. If a ponytail feels too casual, try updating it with the addition of braids, flowers, or accessories. To complete the look, try taking a strand of hair from the ponytail and wrapping around the hair tie to conceal it — it's an easy tip, but one that will instantly elevate your look.

Loose Waves

Loose waves have been taking over the hair scene over the past few years and officially transitioned into one of the hottest wedding styles. By combing through curls or using a wand, you can give classic curls a modern refresh.

Braids

Braids are a catch-all style that works for virtually every type of wedding. For a casual beach wedding, go with something loose and wispy, while fishtail braids are well-suited for a bohemian wedding and braided up-dos work well for more formal events.

Flowers

Many modern brides skip the veil — or accentuate it — by placing flowers in their hair, often tucked into an existing style. Flowers can be weaved into braids, worked into up-dos, bobby-pinned into curls, and even work with the wedding colors or themes to coordinate with the bouquet.

Asymmetry

An asymmetrical style — the new-school version of the half-up-half-down classic — can come in many different forms, and works with the hair being left down or put up. Side-swept waves give a nod to old Hollywood glamour, while an off-centered up-do maintains the ideal balance between modern style and classic beauty.

This Season's Wedding Trends

Wedding trends change from year to year and from season to season. From dresses to the overall look of your wedding, it’s hard to keep track of what’s in style and what isn’t. Here are a few wedding features that are currently trending.

Dresses

Traditionally, the bride’s wedding dress is white, elegant, and long. With fashion trends constantly changing, there’s no telling where the style of your wedding dress might end up. In 2016, some dress features are more stylish than others. For example, long sleeves are coming back. Usually lace, these sleeves are somewhat traditional, but also capture visual interest. Another feature of wedding dresses you will often see are plunging necklines. Dresses that show off your shoulders and chest are widely popular among brides today. Feathers are another aspect of wedding dresses that brides are loving. Make a bridal statement with a dress that uses feathers to add dimension and fun to your wedding.

The Look

You want your guests to enjoy and remember your wedding for years to come. This is why couples nowadays are using metallics, lighting, and destination wedding ideas to spice up their special day. Metallics are incredibly versatile and can be used to make your wedding elegant, whimsical, ethereal, or even natural. Use glitzy golds to pop out room decor at a black-tie wedding or copper lanterns at an outdoor reception or on a rustic tablescape. Wedding lighting is the best and simplest way to establish both a romantic and intimate environment. Use pendant lights with bare “Edison” bulbs, chandeliers (both vintage and modern) and candelabras to cast a soft glow. Lastly, couples are using images and aspects from destinations, their hometowns, their alma maters, and places important to them to decorate their wedding. For example, if you got engaged in Paris, bring in vintage street lamps to light the reception, have Edith Piaf songs playing during dinner and use bistro signage for the bar.

Beautiful Mani-Pedi Ideas for Brides- Charleston, SC

You’ve got your dress picked out, your hair and makeup team briefed, and everything all set for your big day, but what about your nails? There are so many ways you can use your fingernails and toenails to complement your skin tone, dress, or even wedding color scheme. Here are a few options to consider when you treat yourself to a mani-pedi:

French Manicure and Pedicure

Keep it simple and classy with a French manicure and pedicure. With just an elegant white line on your nails, all the attention will be drawn to the ring! Also, this style will look great on any skin tone, with any dress, and with any wedding color scheme!

Go Nude

Again, keeping it simple, you could go for a nude option for both your fingers and toes. This style, too, won’t distract from the ring. Or, you could mix it up and add a pop of color on your fingernails, but keep the nude shade for your toes, or vice versa. Either way, the dash of color could bring some fun into your look, especially if you can coordinate with the rest of the wedding color scheme!

Embellishments

Adding small jewels or glitter to your nails is definitely a great way to be unique, beautiful, and elegant at your wedding. Pair a French manicure with rhinestones at the base of your fingers, put pearls or other gems on certain toes, or pick out a nail or two to accent with glitter.

Ombre Nails

Instead of going with the stark white line of a French manicure, try fading the color down your nail. You can do ombre nails with just about any color, but fading white into a nude shade is truly the most beautiful option. This style also looks great on just about any nail shape!

Deodorant and/or perfume. Don’t let body odor get the best of you on your honeymoon! Deodorant is an absolute must for any kind of trip. Bring perfume along too for evenings at fancy restaurants or nights out on the town.

Hair products. You’ll need shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, hair brushes, and anything else you need to style and clean your hair. Your hotel may provide these products, but if you have a special shampoo for your hair type, you wouldn’t want to forget it at home!

Toothbrush/Toothpaste. Avoid bad breath by packing your toothbrush and toothpaste. It’ll help you feel refreshed in the morning and night and keep your teeth clean!

Your vendors are all ready, the bachelorette party is over, and your perfect dress is hanging in the closet. It’s the day before your wedding, and you’re no doubt feeling nervous and excited. To help your day run as smooth as possible, here are 5 beauty tips you absolutely must do the day before your wedding:

  1. Get a Mani Pedi. With a massage. Your fingers and toes will look beautiful and elegant during your wedding. Your ring finger especially will thank you when your new spouse slides the ring on the next day.
  2. Pack a survival kit. Your wedding day is going to be frantic and busy, so you’re going to want to have a bag filled with all of the essentials. Make sure you have band aids, safety pins, Advil, deodorant, double-sided sticky tape, a small sewing kit a small pair of scissors, a bleach pen, bobby pins, hair spray, blotting papers, gum or mints, a small packs of tissue, makeup remover wipes, tampons, and anything else you can think of that would be useful in a fashion or beauty emergency.
  3. Drink plenty of water. You’ll want to be hydrated and refreshed for your big day.
  4. Get a good night’s sleep. Feeling rested and alert ensures that your whole wedding day will be memorable, fun, and stress-free. In addition to going to bed early, make sure you don’t eat junk foods before you go to bed. Stick to fruit and whole grains.
  5. Wash your hair. Shampoo and condition your hair the night before your wedding. Then, in the morning, rinse with just water. This will let your hair’s natural oils make your hair look shinier and healthier.

Fashion Advice for the Mother of the Bride - Charleston, SC

As the mother of the bride, you have an important role in your daughter’s wedding. You want to look your best, but you also don’t want to overshadow the bride! Here are some fashion tips for you that will ensure your daughter’s big day is perfect for her and for you:

Be Unique

While it is your daughter’s big day, there’s no reason you can’t have a little fun too! Visit shops and look at fashion magazines to first start thinking about your ideal look. It’s usually best to start shopping for your outfit 4-12 months in advance if you don’t want to risk wearing the same dress as someone else. For a cheap alternative to buying an expensive outfit in a magazine is to take a picture of it to a good tailor. They usually can recreate the outfit at a lesser price than it was listed, and you get to wear a unique, designer look to your daughter’s wedding!

Accessories

Don’t leave accessory shopping until the last minute. A statement necklace, a pair of intricate earrings, or a meaningful bracelet can really pull your whole outfit together. It’s a good idea to shop for accessories from several different places. That way, you won’t have to worry about anyone else picking out the same necklace as you.

Don’t Forget About Pictures!

Certain fashion trends can affect the way you look in pictures, and since these pictures are going to be hanging in every relative’s home for the foreseeable future, it’s best to consider this when you’re picking out an outfit. You may want to avoid prints for your wedding outfit. They date quickly and may distract from the bride. Instead, go for something classic. However, stripes, spots, or florals are timeless, and will flatter just about anyone on the day of the wedding and in pictures years later.

Get a Personal Stylist

One way to avoid stressful shopping is to hire a personal stylist. They know when the best time to shop is, where to get certain accessories, and what’s in style right now. With a personal stylist, you can focus more on supporting your daughter and future son-in-law as opposed to worrying about what you’re going to wear.

Wedding Makeup Ideas for Brides with Blue Eyes- Charleston, SC

Wonderful Wedding Makeup Ideas for Brides with Blue Eyes

For your wedding, we want you to look your very best. As it is with any fashion trend, certain clothes, accessories, and even makeup compliment some people based on their body type and facial structure better than they would someone else. The shape of your face, curves of your body, and yes, even the color of your eyes contribute to this formula of finding what’s right for you. For brides with blue eyes, here are a few makeup tips that will make your eyes pop!

-       Eyebrows. Having defined eyebrows is a great way to draw attention to your eyes. Make sure to choose a color for your eyebrows that is close to your natural hair color. If you feel like your eyebrows need to be cleaned up, tweeze them or have them professionally done at least two days before your wedding. You wouldn’t want to have bumps or redness around your brows on your big day!

-       Eye Shadow. To make your blue eyes stand out, look for contrasting eye shadow colors like bronze, tan, or brown. Try to avoid going for a dramatic smoky eye look, as it might distract from the natural beauty in your eyes. If you don’t want to stick with natural colors for your wedding day, there’s nothing wrong with adding a little color to your eye shadow! If you want to try blue, find a shade darker than your eye color. If it’s too similar, it might dull your eyes. Turquoise, cobalt, and maybe even a purple color for fall weddings are the recommended colors for blue eyes. As a general rule of thumb, go for matte colors when picking your eye shadow. This way you won’t reflect light and your eyes won’t appear shiny.

-       Mascara and Eyeliner. First things first: it’s better for blue-eyed brides to use brown mascara as opposed to black. The brown will do a better job of making the color stand out. Make sure it’s waterproof and make sure it’s smudge-proof. Use an eyelash curler before and after applying the first coat. A really dark eyeliner will bring out the hues in your eyes, so it’s okay to use a black-colored product. Running a beige eye pencil across your bottom lash line will make your eyes pop even more.

Wedding Hairstyles for Brides with Round Faces- Charleston, SC

The Best Wedding Hairstyles for Brides with Round Faces

Just how different body types look better in different types of clothes, certain hairstyles suit various face types. For a bride with a square face, her hair will probably look best styled down or in a high bun. Women with oval faces are lucky enough to be able to pull of almost any hairstyle. If you have a round face, there are flattering styling options for you, too! Round faces are characterized by soft features, cheekbones that that are about the same length as your face, and cute, chubby cheeks. If you have a round face like Emma Stone, Kirsten Dunst, or Cameron Diaz, and aren’t sure how to style your hair for your wedding, here are a few flattering options for you!

1.    High-Volume Up-Do. By adding volume to your hair at the crown of your head, you can elongate your face for a slimming effect. Height and volume in your hair are the most flattering features of women with round faces!

2.    Curled Hair Left Down. Again, volume is important when styling for a round face. By leaving your hair down and adding curls or waves below the chin, you can achieve an elegant, flattering look for your wedding.

3.    The Pouf. You can wear a voluminous pouf behind side swept bangs or further back on your head. This style works with pretty much any type of long hair or hair accessory.

4.    Side Hairstyles. Angles produce a slimming effect on your face. Keep your hair styled down over one shoulder or gather it all into a side ponytail, bun, or up-do.

5.    Side Swept Bangs. Bangs can also be swept to the side to create a contrasting angle and a cute, chic look. Even if you don’t have bangs, a stylist can create the illusion of having them by gathering your hair into an up-do and pulling hair from the front to rest on the side of your face.

General Tips

With round faces, there are so many beautiful hairstyling options, but there are a few styles you should try to avoid. Tightly pulled back hair and center parts aren’t the best choices for round faces. Also try to avoid frontal bangs and bangs with little to no bounce. Otherwise, the style you choose to rock on your wedding day should be whatever you feel best in!

Skin Care Tips for Your Wedding Day- Charleston, SC

The Best Skin Care Tips for Your Wedding Day

No bride wants to worry about zits, blemishes, or otherwise unhealthy skin as she walks down the aisle on her big day. And it isn’t good for your skin to simply cover up any imperfections with makeup. Use these tips to clear up your skin before your wedding!

1.    Asses Early. To get your skin at its best, you really should start a skincare routine about a year in advance. If your wedding is happening sooner than that, just start as early as possible.

2.    Get Professional Facials. It’s for your wedding, so you don’t have to feel bad about spending money on monthly facials to refresh and treat your skin. As opposed to doing your own facials, a professional will know exactly how to massage your skin, scalp, and décolletage to stimulate blood circulation and keep your skin healthy and glowing.

3.    Minimize Facial Oil. Use blotting papers, face wash, and oil-free moisturizer.

4.    Eat Super Foods. Eat foods that have a high water content like watermelon, grapefruit, cucumbers, tomatoes, and kale.

5.    Minimize Pores. Microdermabrasion, glycolic acid, and other chemical peels exfoliate your skin and make your pores look smaller.

6.    Use Salt Scrubs. Take a weekly bath with bath salts containing sodium bicarbonate. It will break down dry patches and make your skin ready to collect moisture.

7.    Wear at Least SPF 30 On Your Lips. Protect your lips from the elements and from inevitable cracking by putting on chapstick or lip balm with sun protection. Your lips will remain hydrated and moisturized.

8.    Use Moisturizer Specific to Your Skin Type. Find a moisturizer that is right for you. If you’re prone to breakouts, have dry skin, oily skin, or any other skin type, you can find moisturizer made to make your skin healthy and manageable.

9.    Reduce Sunspots With an Acid Peel. Facial peels remove dead skin and bring new, healthy skin to the surface. For the best results, book a series of six peels, about two weeks apart.

10.  Deep Clean Your Face With a Mask. A face mask will help melt the oil in your pores, something you can’t do by just washing your face. If your skin is oily, use a mask every other day. If you have dry skin, once or twice per month should keep oil and dirt from building up.

11.  Wash Your Face With Your Hands.  Don't use a washcloth on your face. Washcloths can harbor bacteria. Instead, use just your hands. But first, use a separate makeup remover to tackle waterproof mascara and long-wearing lipstick.

12. Use Concealer. Unlike with foundation, your final layer of concealer isn't meant to be totally blended. Dab it right where you need it with a pointed brush. Then, use your finger to pat the perimeter until it's smooth.

13. Blend Foundation with Your Fingers. Whether you apply your foundation with a brush, a stick or a sponge, you should blend it in using your fingers. Put a dollop of moisturizer on your fingers, rub them together and start blending. The extra moisture will keep your foundation and skin from drying out and will make your complexion look soft and dewy.

14.  Eliminate Zits With Benzoyl Peroxide. If you've got a problem pimple, dab benzoyl peroxide gel directly on the blemish. This will help dry it out (sometimes overnight).

15. Shampoo Your Makeup Brushes. Every time you swipe on your blush with a dirty brush, you add a layer of acne-causing bacteria to your skin. Suds your brushes with shampoo, rinse them and hang them to air-dry with the bristles facing down.

16. Use an Eye Cream With Light Diffusers. To get rid of under-eye circles, start with an eye cream that has light diffusers, which reflect light to make the eye look brighter.

Grooms and Hair Coloring before the Wedding - Charleston, SC

Hair Coloring For Grooms

It’s not just the brides who get to have the best day of their life on their wedding day! For grooms, too, the day they get married is one that they will never forget. And they want to look their best, too! Regarding hair styling options, men have to think about the cut and style they want, in addition to the color. If you’re a groom and are thinking of changing up your hair color before your wedding, here are a couple things you’ll want to know:

1.    Don’t wait until a few days before your wedding to change your color to something drastic. If you truly want to change it up for your big day, color your hair at least a month before the date. That way, if it doesn’t look as good as you thought it would, there’s still time to change the color or go back to your natural hair.

2.    Though you might think it’s a good idea to surprise your bride with a fun new hair color on your wedding day, it’s best to consult her, and maybe your fellow groomsmen first. You wouldn’t want to regret something as simple as your hair color it when you look back on your wedding photos!

Lashes and Lace Salon & Bridal

At Lashes and Lace, we don’t only cater to brides! If you’re a groom, we offer hair coloring options for you, too! The Lashes and Lace hair salon is a top-rated hair salon and winner of a handful of awards. Our stylists are amongst the best in the Charleston, SC area. 10 Creative Ways to Cut Your Wedding Costs | Reader's Digest- Charleston, SC

Weddings are known for being memorable, emotional, fun, and expensive.

Tips on Cutting Your Wedding Costs

1. Hire a wedding coordinator. A lot of brides may think that hiring someone to help plan their wedding is going to cost more than if they did it themselves. In fact, wedding coordinators actually save you money because of deals or discounts they may have already arranged with vendors. They can also save you valuable time that you would rather spend trying on dresses and testing out different hairstyles.

2. Take a class in wedding planning. If you take a weekend course in wedding planning, you’ll learn valuable inside secrets that could end up saving you money in the long run.

3. Cut to the cake. Your wedding photographer will no doubt be paid by the hour, so plan to cut the cake and throw your bouquet early in the reception. Your guests won’t care and you can let your photographers leave early.

4. Focus on the bridal party flowers. The cost of flowers comes from arranging them, not the flowers themselves. To save money, only concentrate on the flowers you, your bridesmaids, and other members of your wedding party will be carrying. Try to steer clear of large floral centerpieces on the tables, because these aren’t the ones that will have a prominent place in your wedding album. Instead, try elegant candles surrounded by pebbles or float smaller candles in water.

5. Buy alcohol by the head, not by the drink. Even if you think a lot of your guests don’t drink, they certainly will when it’s free. It’s almost always cheaper to pay for liquor by the head. Also, you won’t be surprised by the bill at the end of the night.

6. Use your credit card to pay for everything. Paying with a credit card will protect you from any accidents involving your vendors. If something goes wrong but you paid with a credit card, your money will typically be refunded to you. However, if you paid with cash, that money will be lost.

7. Skip the custom printed wedding invitations. Wedding invitations can be pretty pricey, so why not do them yourself? You can save a ton of money by simply making your invites on invitation software that offers many fonts and graphics to choose from and are typically easy to use.

8. Book music students for your reception. A lot of bands will charge hefty fees to play your wedding, but music students will be cheaper and sometimes just as talented. Contact a local university (if you can, try to find one that specializes in the performing arts) and see if they can recommend any of their students. If you’re worried, you can hold an audition or ask if you can see them perform at a concert or gig.

9. Use local expertise. Before you hire professionals for every aspect of your wedding, ask around your neighborhood and community and you’ll be sure to discover bargain talent in the area you need it.

10. Take notes. Before you hire anyone’s services for your wedding, make sure you know what you want and what you are asking them to do. Clip pictures from magazines, print recipes, try on dresses, visit wedding shows, and anything else you can think of to ensure you know what you want.

Hair No Nos When It Comes to Your Wedding Day

What NOT To Do With Your Hair On Your Wedding Day

It’s Summertime, and the Charleston wedding bells are starting to ring just about everywhere you go! Having a picture-perfect day will require some professional help, especially when it comes to ensuring that every strand on your head is perfectly in place. Having a great hairstyle with matching eyebrows on your wedding day is every bride’s goal, so it was almost our obligation to make sure you know all of the Hair No Nos When It Comes to Your Wedding Day.  Here’s what not to do!

The Full NO NO list

  1. The way you wear the hair on your head is not the only thing you want looking great on your wedding day so be sure to remember your eyebrows. Do not pluck or tweeze your eyebrows on your wedding day! That’s a no no because you run the chance of irritating the area and making it puffy or red.
  2. Getting eyelash extensions in Charleston is a yes yes but cheap eyebrows that you have to glue on from a local store is an absolute no no! The last thing you need to do is drop a strip of eyelashes while you’re walking down the aisle!
  3. Wearing your hair down and in front of your face is a big wedding no no! You don’t want your hair smudging your makeup or covering your beautiful face. Especially since your guests will be snapping photos of each one of your angles.
  4. Just like you wouldn’t wear a dress you haven’t tried on, you shouldn’t style your hair in a way you’ve never tried on before, especially a new hair cut. When in doubt, go with a classic wedding hairstyle to reduce the risk of hating your look.
  5. DIY hairdos are something to be tried when you’re going on a date not when you’re getting married. All Charleston brides should have professional hair and makeup done on their wedding day. You may want to cut corners on your wedding budget but the one area that affects your entire look and feel on the most important day of your life is not where you want to pinch pennies.

If you’re unsure of your wedding day hair no nos, and you’d like to have a bridal consultation in Charleston, please feel free to contact us so we can make sure every lash and strand is exactly where it needs to be.

Perks of Eyelash Extensions - Charleston SC

Understanding the Perks of Eyelash Extensions

Eyelashes may be one of the best-kept secrets in the world of beauty. Having long and full lashes help enhance and define your eyes instantly, delivering a modelesque impact to your overall look. Even without wearing any eyeshadow or liner, your luxurious lashes will hold their own in defining your eyes. Unfortunately, we are not all blessed with natural lashes that are dark and full, so we use mascara to give our lashes a boost. Yet sometimes mascara is just not enough, and at times, it will give you raccoon eyes throughout the day. If you’re undecided on whether or not eyelash extensions are for you, here are some Perks of Eyelash Extensions to help you decide.

1. Looking Younger

Making your eyes look bigger and beautiful has become easier with eyelash extensions because they lift your eyes. Children usually have full eyelashes but as we age our hormonal shift tends to make our eyelashes more sparse. Eyelash extensions make our eyes appear younger which in turn rejuvenates our face and helps us look more youthful.

2. No More Piling On The Makeup

One of the biggest perks of eyelash extensions is not needing to wear as much makeup. Cutting down time to get ready before going out is always a plus, so anything that makes your mornings move faster is worth the try. You will appear more awake and put together because of the way the lashes will open up your eyes, and yet it will take way less effort since you won’t need as much makeup.

3. No Raccoon Eyes

You can enjoy just about any movement with your eyelash extensions unlike wearing mascara which runs and smears when you perspire or take part in any watersport. With the lashes, you can still enjoy your favorite workout and go swimming without needing to remove your mascara first. It will be so much better to be able to go to the gym without any makeup on and still look beautiful.

4. Long Lasting

Semi-permanent eyelash extensions will last longer than any artificial eyelashes you may find at a local store. They naturally and gradually fall out over time without any discomfort or pain. If you properly care for your eyelash extensions and use the right tools, they can easily last several weeks and sometimes more.

5. Create Your Own Look

Visiting an experienced eyelash extension expert in Charleston means that you can customize your lashes and create the look you’ve always envisioned. If that means a subtle change to boost your appearance, then that’s what you’ll get! You can also aim for a more voluminous and dramatic look if what you’re looking for is some enhancement to your present appearance. Since eyelash extensions are applied individually to each one of your natural lashes, your eyelash extension specialist in Charleston can mold your eye shape into a beautiful work of art.

If you’ve been contemplating a beauty enhancement by having eyelash extension put in, please call us today and we will help get you on your way to batting your lovely Southern eyes with confidence.
