SERVICE AGREEMENT
This agreement outlines all services to be provided by Lashes and Lace
This includes any employees, and associates, the fees charged for said services, and all details, stipulations, and restrictions.

This contract is an agreement between the bride and Lashes and Lace stating that we will be present on your wedding day to perform hair and makeup services. In the event your stylist experiences a death in the immediate family or severe illness/ injury on your date, we are not responsible for completing services and will provide someone of equal capability to fulfill the services for you.
To reserve your date, Lashes and Lace requires a non-refundable retainer of $600. This retainer must be paid via credit card. Please note, this minimum applies to wedding day services only and does not include the trial run session, travel fees, or any appointments prior to the wedding date.

For Saturday weddings during peak season (March, April, May, June, September, October, and November), a $1,200 minimum applies. For all other weddings, a $600 minimum applies year-round. If you are booking services for the bride only and do not have a bridal party, the minimum may be waived for weddings taking place Monday through Thursday at any time of year, or for weekend weddings scheduled during the off-season months of January, February, July, August, and December. In the event that the minimum is waived, full payment for all services is due at the time of booking. This payment is non-refundable and secures your date.
Your retainer/payment provided at booking will be applied towards your final wedding balance. All retainers and upfront payments will incur a 3.5% processing fee and must be made via credit card as we do not accept checks. The remaining balance on your wedding date will also incur a 3.5% processing fee.
The retainer is strictly non-refundable and will not be returned for any wedding cancellations for any reason. In the event of wedding cancellation due to a force majeure circumstance [including but not limited to hurricanes, flood, natural disaster, state shutdown, plague, death in family, or any other factor outside of our
control] our retainer remains non-refundable.

In the event, you are required and able to postpone your wedding due to a force majeure circumstance, we will honor your retainer for a future date assuming our availability. If our team is unavailable on your new date, you will forfeit your retainer. Lashes and Lace will grant one date change penalty-free in the event of a force majeure postponement. All subsequent date changes will incur a $250 date
change fee.

All wedding day details, including timing, location, and the list of services, must be contracted no later than one month prior to the wedding date. At the one-month mark, the contract is considered locked and no details may be changed, including adding or removing services. As the bride, it is your responsibility to mark your calendar and ensure all details and services are submitted by this cut-off point. If your wedding coordinator is responsible for handling your wedding day logistics, it is still your responsibility to review and approve the final service list before the cut-off date. Any service list submitted by a coordinator will be considered final and binding, and you, as the bride, will remain financially responsible for all services listed. We only guarantee the ability to perform the services and timing that are requested in writing prior to the one-month deadline.

By putting your initals above, the client agrees to provide final details and updates no later than 30 days prior to their wedding date and is aware that any changes past this point will not be accepted.
Please inform your bridal party that we do not allow cancellations on the wedding day and that any service on the final timeline/contract will be charged for in full. In the event that a bridal party member can no longer receive her services, you are encouraged to find someone to fill their slot.
For any wedding cancellations made after the thirty day cut off service deadline, the bride will be charged in full for all listed services. Any wedding cancellations prior to the thirty day cut off will only forfeit their non-refundable retainer. Postponements made after the 30 day cut off will require a $250 charge along with
an agreed upon locked-in date change.
Final payment for all services is due the day of the wedding in the form of credit card, cash or Venmo. Our Venmo handle is @Lashes_Kacie_Haberdash. We accept all major credit cards and charge a 3.5% processing fee. We do not accept checks or multiple payments under any circumstances. We do require payment for the entire bridal party to be handled in one transaction by the contracted client and do not allow separate payments.
A 20% gratuity will be automatically applied to all final balances, including services scheduled prior to the wedding day such as trial runs, spray tans, and other appointments. Additional gratuity is completely optional but always appreciated. If you’d like to leave something extra for your team, you’re welcome to do so on the wedding day via cash or Venmo, directly to your lead stylist. All gratuities will be split evenly among the team.

Travel is included on the wedding day for all getting ready locations within the downtown Charleston area. Our team will gladly travel out of the downtown Charleston area for an additional fee. Please inquire for the associated travel fee for your location.
Your stylists will need to begin promptly at the assigned start time to guarantee everyone in the party is completed on time. Late arrival by the bridal party to the getting ready location will be subject to a $50/half hour late fee per stylist.
Due to sanitation purposes and DHEC regulations, our staff is not permitted to set up in restrooms under any circumstances. We ask that you provide a spacious, well lit area for our team and our supplies. Dining rooms or other areas with table space and natural lighting are preferred.
We kindly ask that all clients refrain from eating, drinking, and cell phone use during their service time. This keeps our staff on schedule, provides our staff with each client’s full attention, and keeps our stations sanitary.
Members of the bridal party are not permitted to touch any products or tools belonging to Lashes and Lace without our verbal permission. We are not responsible for any injury incurred to any client while using our products or tools
without permission [i.e. burns from irons or skin reactions]. Please prohibit children from playing around our hot tools and stations. As the bride, you are financially responsible in the event an individual in your group causes damage to our hair and/or makeup kits, products, gear, or tools.
Lashes and Lace reserves the right to refuse to perform services alongside other hair and makeup providers from outside teams. As we perform both hair and makeup services, the bride will need written permission from our management prior to booking outside makeup artists or hairstylists to work in the same space during the same time as Lashes and Lace staff. We prefer to do both hair and makeup for our groups to provide you with the best experience and an overall cohesive look amongst your bridal party. Special accommodations and exceptions will be made upon request and on a case by case basis.
Lashes and Lace reserves the right to refuse to perform services for individuals with lice, knits, contagious skin disorders, scalp disorders, poor hygiene, or late arrival. In the event any of these situations arise and our team is unable to provide service/s, the bride will still be charged in full for the individual’s contracted service/s.

Lashes and Lace is not responsible for allergic reactions and all topical allergies must be stated on the form below. We use only professional grade products, however, please let us be aware of any skin sensitivities you may have.
Any and all wedding updates to this contract are to be made in writing via email directly to Lashes and Lace. By signing this contract, you acknowledge that updates via email will be added into this contract and will be legally binding. We will not confirm wedding day timing, schedules, or any pertinent details over the phone or in person. All logistical and contractual updates must be made in writing and confirmed by Lashes and Lace management.

PLEASE NOTE: This contract is a living document and may be updated periodically to reflect changes in company policies. Each signed agreement reflects the version of the contract in effect at the time of signing. Any updates made after that point do not apply retroactively. Clients are encouraged to print or save a PDF copy of the signed contract for their records immediately after signing.

Once you sign this contract, you will be taken to a page to pay your retainer. The retainer must be paid and your information confirmed before your booking is complete.

Along with your retainer being paid, a card number on file is required for all bookings. When you pay your retainer, at checkout, please check the box that allows us to keep your card on file.
This card number will be kept on file in a password secured location. The credit card will be used for the retainer and any wedding cancellations that occur less than thirty days prior to the wedding date.
Please inform us of any changes in credit card information. The cardholder and bride agree to update Lashes and Lace with any credit card change between date of signing and the wedding date.
