Many of us grew up with our mothers telling us that brushing our hair 100 strokes a day will make it shine.  This couldn’t be farther from the truth.  All you need is a few strokes to style hair and spread the natural oils from roots to ends.  One hundred strokes is too much, you'll do more damage than good. 

Hair will break if you tug and brush it too much. On the other hand gentle brushing with a few strokes will make hair shine by distributing the natural oils from the scalp down the hair shafts and flattening the cuticles to make them reflect more light.

Blow drying, can give you a more controlled style, yet is one of the worst things you can do.  Each of your hair strands is covered with shingle-like structures called cuticles.  Blow drying causes heat damage making your hair cuticles become dry, rigid and brittle.

I’ve wanted to try Eyelash Extension for over two years.  Truthfully, I’m not sure what kept me from getting them earlier.  All I know is that two weeks ago, I had had it with the mascara.  It was hot and humid, you know the typical Charleston SC summer weather and all.  Well, I was outside for the day and by mid afternoon my mascara was running down my face.
