For makeup, I especially loved the airbrushed foundation and the shimmery eyeshadow. I felt like I still looked like myself which is what I wanted. The only thing I would tweak is the false lashes. They ended up giving me a bit of a headache, and I actually took them off when we got home. I’m thinking it might be best to skip the strip lashes on the wedding day and just curl my lashes and use mascara instead.
When I showed a few people photos afterward, one person mentioned that the foundation may have been slightly darker than my neck. It wasn’t dramatic, but it might be worth adjusting just a touch to better match my neck and chest.
As for hair, I was pleasantly surprised with how beautiful I felt with my hair down! Since I wore my hair in a bun for portraits, this felt like the real test of wearing it down, and I loved how it held. From about 2:30pm until 10:30pm that night, I didn’t touch it once. It was pulled back the perfect amount so it stayed off my shoulders, and I never once felt like I needed to fix it. I also thought the way it was styled really accentuated my face beautifully.
The only tweak I’d suggest is softening the curls a bit. The ringlets were slightly tighter than I typically prefer. I love more of a big, bouncy blowout look, like what you’d get from a round brush or rollers. Is that something we could adjust for the wedding day?

No concerns! My hair is naturally wavy, and my go to style for dressing up is a big bouncy blow out. I prefer that my hair covers the tips of my ears.
